Please join the WP&BC Los Angeles Chapter for its 2015 Fall Conference - LA’s premier event for benefits professionals. This unique half-day educational and networking opportunity will be held at the UCLA Faculty Center in Westwood. The conference will provide continuing education credits for ASPPA, NIPA, JBEA, ERPA, MCLE CA, CPA, SHRM and CFP.

Breakout Session #1 - What’s Our Industry Doing to Move Participants Toward Retirement Readiness?
An engaging discussion with several industry experts regarding employee engagement, retirement readiness and and useful tools. This session will feature the following speakers:

Joe Saari, CEO, Financial Fitness Group, will address the concept of financial wellness and review some of the technology, tools and interactive education materials Joe has used with 1000’s of employers and millions of employees worldwide.

Breakout Session #3 - Near-Term ACA Requirements - What do These Mean for Plan Sponsors?
This session will address the challenges of complying with the ACA including the upcoming 2016 employer reporting requirements, possible ways to prepare for and mitigate the 2018 Cadillac Tax and various communication strategies. The following speakers will address these issues:

Lunch Presentation: The DOL Speaks - During lunch, senior officials from the Department of Labor will discuss the Department’s enforcement activities, highlighting actual “war stories” from the thousands of investigations it conducts each year.  The officials will also provide you with an opportunity to ask questions about how the Department goes about its enforcement activities and analyzes ERISA Title I fiduciary duties.

Registration Fee: $125 through August 31st, $150 after September 1st
